MoU signed between JUST and CRP

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed with Jessore University of Science and Technology (JUST) and Center for the Rehabilitation of the Paralyzed (CRP) for joint cooperation in education and research, hands-on training of teachers and students of the two institutions.

At CRP head office in Savar the Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Sunday. Prof. Md. Anwar Hossain, Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the University and the CRP founder and coordinator Dr. Valerie Ann Taylor on behalf of CRP signed the MoU.

After the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Anwar Hossain said, “The main objective of signing this MoU is to enrich ourselves through mutual help and cooperation. We have already conducted joint research with CRP on Long Covid. Moreover, the way the CRP has come forward in the service of humanity, we hope that this MoU will bring that light to our students. At the time, Valerie Ann Taylor said, “We will continue to work together to advance the education and research of the two institutions through mutual cooperation in matters of mutual interest.”

The main objectives of this MoU are to provide clinical placement, training of teachers and students in education and research, exchange of research facilities for joint research and other general facilities through joint collaboration. The Memorandum of Understanding will be valid for the next five years. The memorandum of understanding was mediated between the two organizations by the chairman of the physiotherapy and rehabilitation (PTR) department Dr. Md. Feroz Kabir.

Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Technology, Prof. Dr. Md. Iqbal Kabir Zahid; Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Dr. Tanvir Islam; Registrar Engineer Md. Ahsan Habib; Deputy Registrar Mohammad Emdadul Haque; Lecturer Shaheen Sarkar; Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain and CRP Executive Director Prof. Md. Sohrab Hossain, CRP Bangladesh Health Profession Institute Principal Prof. Md. Omar Ali Sarkar, Vice-Principal Prof. Md. Obaidul Haque and others were present at the time of signing the MoU.
